Default question -what can a stock sc400 race?

the question is in the subject.

more of a theoretical question, but my friend doesn't think my sc400 can beat a stock 2001 civiv si.

so what cars could race the sc400 and still be close?

Do us all a favour and race your friend in the Si (SiR in Canada) and tell us his reaction. You will whoop him in all aspects... Even price! (Used sc vs. Used si)

I've got a friend with an Si with AEM intake, GReddy exhaust, and a couple other bolt-ons, my SC4 walks all over him. These are still only low 15 sec cars at best though.

The SC3 with a stick is about as quick as the SC4, except for up top, where the SC4 is faster. The SC3 with an auto is a few tenths behind.

so an SC300 is just as fast off the line as the SC400? i guess it does make sense, as i don't think lexus designed the SC400 for racing, but more for smoothness and higher end power, but still, i would have expected the SC400 to be at least a little quicker off the line.

The SC300 5-speed is still on paper a few tenths slower than the SC400 in 0-60 and 1/4 mile. Verylost, just made the list.

Also the list you read above is mainly talking about an sc400 beating those cars 0-60 and 1/4. There is a whole other catagory of cars an sc400 can take top end. Like LS1's LOL j/k. But seriously top end you can eventually catch new gt mustangs, lt1 camaros, all the cars on that list and numerous more. If you were looking for a 0-60/1/4 car sell your sc400 and buy a twin turbo supra. They also have the best top end as well(destroy skylines, rx7's,motorcycles, and even twin turbo vipers(I have a video as proof)) Sorry I got a little carried away with the supra but I used to own one and I miss her a lot.

I noticed the 540i is not on the list. It should be. I beat them stock all the time(auto ones). We should also list IS300,GS300, and ES300 on there too.

about the ES300...i have a friend who has one and thinks it's extremely fast...as far as i know, it's the same 3.0 liter V6 as the SC300, but with 210 horsepower stock compared to the 225 on the sc300...any thoughts?
