can't tell ya the real #. but considering in 1997 for example (year of the redesign yet last year of the manual):
there were only 2168 SC300's that were produced.

i'd figure if 10% were manuals, you'd have 200 SC 5spd that year. 5% and you are only talkin about 100. Divide the colors of your choice (black) by say 3. And you are talking about 30 black SC5spd that has the redesigned look.
That's one of the reason why I jumped at my car when I saw it, I knew how rare it was
my guess thou, would be around 10-15% manuals. since I just refuse to believe, there's only 30 other cars made like mine in the US.

The production figures for the JZZ31 (SC300) also include the Soarer 3ltr model sold in Japan.
So the actual sales of SC300s in the USA & Hawaii are less than you might imagine.
Toyota/Lexus published sales figures for the SC300 from Oct 97 to Oct 98 show only 1505 sold. Then around 1400 sold the following year, then around 500 for its last year.
I dont have the sales figures for the first months it was on sale in 97 but they were selling around 200 a month. So its possible there were 1000 sold before October 97. Rough total, 4500.
Which if 10% were manuals makes it around 450....... for the 'redesign' 97 model.......
So if you used Legend6spd's logic for the 97 model... (1500 sold?)
10% manuals .... 150
divide by 3 colours......50
If you use 5%, then its down to 25.......
If you own a black 97 5 speed manual, you could have one of only 30 cars like it in the USA.
