Haha Kevin you about those from Mario? I believe those wheels are 1pc so the only choice you have is paint with automotive paint to get the 2-tone look. Powdercoating usually will cost you about $150 per wheel.

Yea thats what i am affraid of, I am thinking about just hittin up the lips with as many clear coats as possible to help avoid that. How man coats is to many to keep it from looking glossy

I actually just plasti dipped mine last weekend, black center, chrome lip. Had to peel a couple times, comes right off. The finish looks really cool (I left it matt black, no clear). It made my car look 10 times better in my opinion. I will get some before and after pictures up in a bit (I am fixing two broken wheel studs right now). You can paint right over it if you want to change the color.

Putting lots of clear might help a bit but not as a powdercoated wheel would, put it light this. When taking out the lugs one of them fell on the lip and chipped it a bit.

I would just paint the areas that are orange... white to match your car.

I had mines painted matte black /w gloss black lip and silver pin stripe....I wanted a black chrome lip,but the shop couldnt get that custom color.I paid alot for the work, but it came out good. Here are some pics, there a little dusty and this what I have for now.....car is in the process of getting painted

pm if you want the shop info

Yea I did have them up forsale, but Im going to leave them on for now and see how it comes out with the body kit and BBK.Right now the car is pretty low on MK4 H&R coilovers but im going to have to raise a little once the kit is on.

Btw:It shouldnt cost much to paint the orange areas on your wheels......if you do it yourself take your time. Also if you decide to paint those wheels you bought from Mario matte/gloss black lip (which is a clip on lip) will have to be removed to have it done properly. That will drive up the price of the work, which happend in my case.

I'm surprised to see that you're getting rid of the IS wheels. The new wheels look good though.
