Want To Paint My Rims Got Some ????
So I picked up some new to me 19" wheels, couldnt pass on them due to price and they are the size I wanted. BUT they are currently in a wack silverish color with orange accents painted and chrome/polish lip. After much debate I have decided I want to paint them in Flat black center with high gloss lips. So my question is, is the paint process for rims somewhat the same as it is for car paint and do I use automotive paint ? I was thinking of sending them out to get painted but my dad is pretty good with a paint gun and I have access to all the materials needed. Just looking for info on possble process on going about painting them. Any input would be ver appreciated

THIS. Plasti dip is the way to go. There's really no need to prep the wheels and if you don't like it, it comes off like vinyl.

I almost bought those same wheels but without the orange accents.
They have nice off sets for SC's from the factory for the staggered look on the 1 piece models. I think Petrol has a 3 piece line as well.
The lips I would leave chrome or do black chrome. IMO of course...
