I bought my car about a month ago and about 2 weeks after owning the car the small clip for the passenger outter door handle broke, so i went to the dealer got a new one and installed it. the outter door handle work for about 2 days then stopped working(thought the gf broke the clip again.) but when i opened the door up the clip has just come out of the door handle hole, so i put it back together again making sure it was all together and working again. so just the other night my gf n i go to get in my car and she pulls the handle and i hear a snap again...then i go to use the interior door handle to let her in and it doesnt do anything either. also the lock will not stay in the lock position on the pass side, not like anyone can get in though...but i still like things working properly. this also causes the keyless remote to not lock the door or the car beep when i lock it. I cannot even get the door open to look inside. anyone had this problem or know whats going on? any help is greatly appreciated.

 

that really sucks.. only way i can think of to get this thing open is.. use a slim jim and try to find the rod and push it down to get the door open.. after you get the door open.. make sure you fix the clip properly so you dont have to go through this again..

zip tie is your friend,

If you cant get the inside to work then, try to remove the bolt behind the handle and there should be 2 metal wires/rod? or whatever and grab the blue one and try to pull it as hard as you can so the door opens or just put it back on the door handle if you can.

if still no go then air saw will be your painful friend.
