Default 3000 grand is the budget

well after my massive tire blowout i decided its time go ahead and crack the piggy bank and get this project going 3 stacks is my cap right now and debating on wht to do with it (no motor swap) i really wanna get this converted to a 5 spd but im sure 3 stacks will not be enough after i do the maintenance, so im gonna do maintenance and some cosmetics. heres da list!

1. full tune up (timing betl water pump etc. me and people doing it at the shop so labor is not a issue but where do you guys get your oem parts i would much rather use oem replacement for the tune up portion and i only got nissan hook ups new to da yota world)

2. Repaint da rims cant afford new one yet

3. lowered undecided if i should get some coilovers or just get get springs and shocks not tryna get slammed as i live in the back woods and a racoon took out da bumper on my maxima (cracked whole bottom half) just want a nice lowered stance and good ride.

4. audio i want a touch screen sumthing in there wit new interior speakers not really concerned with subs but da tape deck and these blown speakers gotta go.

5. if anything is left after start piecing da 5spd swap together lil by lil.

checkout the blowout

Mind me asking what the culprit was on that blow out? How often do you check your tire pressure?

to be honest there is a known issues with that particular type of goodyear tire wear the tire was separating in that area they had a big recall on it i know cuz maxima's come factory with that tire and when i bought the car and saw the tire i couldnt believe it i was planning to replaced them being that i couldnt get goodyear to replace them since there is no maintenance history just ended up replacing them sooner than i wanted to...

man that's a massive blow out.

WP/TB cost for all parts that you should replace: $300, labor additional of course. I've been quoted anywhere from $550-800 for everything including labor.
Spray Paint & clear for Wheels: $25.00-30.00, plus your time
Springs: $150-250, depends on new or used, brand, etc
Coilovers: $650-1500 depends on new or used, brand, etc. Can obviously be more for higher brand names
New Head Unit as you described: $450-600
Speakers: $250.00
5spd swap, check around for deals on the CL classifieds

For the headunit go get an older AVIC d series. $200 max touchscreen with navigation cant be beat. Ebay has a lot of them. I had Goodyears on my yukon. Same thing happened to me. Looked like someone slit my tires. Lucky you were not hurt.

That is severe tire failure. You need to contact the tire company.

$3000.00 yes you can do quite abit with that ONLY if your good at sourcing out parts and labour.

$3000.00 in the wrong hands could mean a set of rims and thats that.

Do your tune up and whatnot first, source out rims and springs next , the audio i agree can wait for now.

You should still have a good chunk left for part or two.

Good luck
