What are the negatives of winter driving ? I know that the main one is the cold starts but what else? My SC started making an annoying whistling noise I think its one of the belts =(

Salt. Sliding around in the snow and possibility of hitting something, or someone hitting YOU. That was my biggest concern..

"Winter Beater" really only applies to people that live above I-40(elevation depending) but I know most dailys would be winter beaters. I'm off of I-70 and here is my winter beater...
And once I throw a running ka this will be my real winter beater..
Since we are supposed to keep this Sc related here's my track(drift) only/work in progress Sc400 lol..

My current DD and winter car is my Ford Escort
But I'm not sure how log it will last. Hopefully until this spring when I can get to working on my lexus.

Winter car on the right, summer on the left. SC400 will see it's first winter this year, stock suspension and a winter wheel and tire setup are going on soon.
