Hey guys, after seeing that a lot of people are looking for a red/clear, clear tail light for there SC300, I've decided that I'm going to attempt to make some. I don't own a SC300 yet, but plan to this winter/spring. So my question is does anyone know a place to get tail lights(The best price so far has been $200)? And 92-00 SC 300 tails all fit the same correct? And I remember saying that the 96+ would be the easiest to modify correct? Thanks, and if everything goes smoothly, I would be willing to do a group buy for CL if admins allow it. Thanks inadvance!

You know, I was looking very closely at my '92 SC400 lights and I don't think you can just clear it by popping the yellow lens out. It LOOKS like it's molded in yellow. I don't have the heart to rip apart a perfectly good set of '92 tail lights but I'm going to go look for one at a junkyard to see how the housing is made up.

The '97+ tail light are a SLIGHTLY different shape. Not much...I konw for SURE that you can put '97+ tail lights in a older ('92 to '96) SC but I'm not sure about the other way around (I don't know anyone that would do such a thing)...

I have molded lights before, so that part isn't a problem for me atleast. What kind of prices have you seen for tail lights? I really don't want to spend $200 on a set of tails I'm completely going to change and for that price I could just buy 4 sets of civic clear tails and just use the housing and design my own
