Low idle and shuttering until gas pedal is depressed?
Alright so my idle is about 350-400 all of the time, sometimes on a cold start, it will die after I start moving the car, it's been like this for a while.
Things it's not:
IACV (had it replaced)
Throttle body being dirty (I cleaned it with carb cleaner and it was just out when I got the HG changed)
Things that are currently issues:
PS is leaking from the HP hose
rack and pinion is ****ed up
Is the cause of this issue the power steering leak?

I got a similar problem but don't know where to begin. Need to press on the gas pedal to start the car and keep it from dying. Thing is it needs to warm up for 20 minutes before it doesnt stall by itself when I remove my feet from the gas pedal to put it in gear with the auto tranny. My SC is ****ing useless been working on it for 6 months still tons of problems.
I'll try to help if I find the cause of my problem or maybe I can learn on your thread with your permission.

Have you tried the 12v fuel mod? My car had similar symptoms and the 12v fuel mod fixed it.
Here is a link to it:https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...tures-faq.html.

i had the same problem it felt like the car was going to die. I use AC to temp fix since it increases your rpm.
what i did was i ran the car pretty hard and it has been working fine ever since i don't know how that fixes anything but it worked for me. carbon build up?

Are the spark plugs still good?
The distributor or coils pack still good?
Lastly, do a compression test or leak down test to further diagnose to see if there's something wrong with the internal engine component.
Hope this help.

Spark plugs are new, distributor is fine same with coil packs, I just had the HG done a month ago and I've only put 200 miles on it since, no difference from before or after. It's always had this issue, when I get the new HP power steering hose, I will know if it's that (I've got a feeling it might be). And no carbon build up, just had the head machined 200 miles ago.

It happens like this before you had the cylinder head machined? Okay, so you had the cylinder machined, do you re-used all the OEM parts internal components?
Yea, do let us know whether the HP power steering hose can fix this issue.

I just replaced my ps pump and had my stock HP line rebuilt. Didn't help.

Is the check engine light on? If it does, then is there any code?
Have you cleaned the MAF? Or maybe you need a new MAF? Or if you have a friend with the same car, try to use his MAF to see if the problem still exist.
