sc400 mod cecommendations
#16
Ya i actually might need to invest in this anyway. My car is bogging out when i rev over 2k rpm's. I am 75% sure it has too do with my fuel system, might as well get er upgraded while i am at it right? Anyone here got a upgraded fuel system on their 1uz?

BFI, Greddy E-manage trick, exhaust, lsd (just for fun)
Those are the simple things,
You could also do the W58 swap, ITB's, cams, stuff like that,
then you can be a baller if you got the deep pockets and
boost it.

I have an electromotive tech-gt on my 1uz, and on a very conservative tune It totally woke up the motor. on more of a budget the mega squirt 3 will do the same thing..
5speed+LSD+standalone = fun car with a lot more mod potential down the road.

lextreme.com will have the parts. if your a baller baller not just a reg baller get the 1uz stroker and keep the 4 bolt mains. port the heads, cam upgrades, rods n pistons of the forged kind, imf headers, custom exhaust as mentioned. if staying n/a the itb's with a nice tune. if your a baller baller baller do a vortech super charger or an eaton m90 or eaton m112 (cheap now a days off an old thunerbird or lighting). Now if your a baller baller baller of ballers the TT that **** and call it a day!

i had the safc done it was so long ago but as far as tuning it goes i had no cats and a full exhuast bfi with an apexi intake of a ma70 they bolt right up with no prob.
i would suggest a wideban if ur going to tune it ur self or tacking it to a local tuner
