There have been some good numbers made on ebay turbos. But eventually you get what you pay for and you may have to end up buying a better brand name turbo.

There are certain things you don't want to skimp out on, things that could lead to failure of other components in the engine bay. Generally, you end up spending more doing things two or three times compared to doing it correctly with trusted brands once (I'm not saying trusted brands don't fail). You may save in the beginning but end up spending more over time.

Agreed 100%...try and keep atleast the turbo and wastegate a trusted brand, or at minimum, XS Power.

I agree 100 percent with what you all are saying. I was hoping on some info regarding the manifold, downpipe fitment etc. I would buy the kit and sell the turbo off hah. I would like to go with a brand name dual ball bearing turbo and yes i want a quality wastegate preferably tial etc. I was on club NA-T i e-mailed the guy Mark i believe however got no response. I wouldn't mind a solid kit for 1500 or so...Then i do realize i have to get a full EMS and i plan on running E85 hopefully close to 500 whp : ). so far i bought my suspension tokiko 5 way adjustable struts and spring springs, decent combo.
