a mid 11 would be nice and shouldnt be hard to achieve with the LQ.

I had though about running a bottle, but scored a set of LS6 heads and intake the other day. They set my build back a little, but will be built specifically for boost along with the cam I have listed. Only thing I will worry about when the time comes is the block, and I will be going with a Weiand intake and 90mm tb.

But for now, stock LS1/T56. Really miss driving my SC, and your car has made me want this so much more.

That's awesome! I've always thought about doing an LSx swap, but it seemed to be frowned upon by most Lexus people. It's nice to see someone attempt it finally.

niice i was wondering what was taking so long for people to start doing this, I wouldn't mind going this route someday, are you able to keep your gauges and interior creature comforts functioning normally?

Gauges only require the Dakota boxes. As for the comforts, you can retain the stock SC ecu to run those, and simply wire +/-'s on the LSX ecu to control the engine and splice whats needed to the SC harness/ecu.

Actually everything except for the heater and ac still works, once I get the swap done I'll get the heater working, dreams u did a bunch of research but I don't know about any extra modules for the gauges meaning speed and tach, Im pretty sure HP tuners can adjust the lsx PCM to work with my gauges

Im sure the LSX ecu can be programmed to correct the output signal to work with the stock gauges, but Im using the Dakota Digital boxes just to keep from having to mess with programming or flashing..Plus I already had a universal set here for the tach and speedo, so it worked for me going that route.

But I am curious, how did you wire in the a/c? and what else are you running off the LSX ecu?
