That was an option that we were considering, but we wanted to take advantage of the larger intake ports, not to mention a better designed head. Another concern is that the 2UZ's bore (94mm vs. 87.5) will not allow the 1UZ heads to take full advantage of the bore size, and may even increase the CR.
