Default V8 Soarer Beach Drifting

Hi all

I know this is definitely not the best drifting vid that is up here, but I thought I'd share it with you.

I saw an accessible stretch of empty beach in Wales (UK) and decided to take my UZZ31 V8 Soarer over it.

Auto gearbox (Locked in 2nd) and no LSD, and air suspension pumped right up so no damage was caused to the underneath. This was 5 months ago and nothing has fallen off since then so please, don't ***** about how I abused her. A car is there for your fun and I service it whenever I can

Can't tell if it's the dirt or not, but it just doesn't look like it has enough power to get drifting.
Wish we had that adjustable air suspension here though, would be soo useful!

You're driving on the wrong side dude...the driver seat is on the left side.

To be honest mate I didn't really want to redline it since this car is my 300miles per week daily driver and I pretty much rely on it...

But when I get a manual box + LSD I'll be straight back at the coast for the next try

whattttt????

the USA didn't get airstruts???

man - every day im noticing more and more the differences between soarers and SC's!!!!

fazy - next time - don't do it on a public beach... you could hurt someone!!!!

...do it outside buckingham palace instead

or ever better - over some gypsies :P or the brick lane markets! :P

EDIT: wait - you clearly said you're welsh... i don't know why i mentioned british things :P

you're from WALES... where the leprechauns are from, right?

I'm not Welsh, I was just visiting there... Leprechauns = Ireland, the only things to come from Wales are rain, sheep and herpes...

The air suspension is -very- handy. I have a 3rd party controller unit for it that cost approx $200, and I can slam the car till it's undriveable, and raise it to about 25cm above the tyres, or any level inbetween.

It makes oil changes very easy

well you know i see it both ways .

Yes he was a little hard on his car but like he said cars are meant to drive and have fun.

I dont have any position either way.

He wasnt too hard on it though.

That was my thinking, with no LSD, its pretty difficult to keep a drift on the tarmac, and tends to burn through the tires quite unevenly.

The sand was a good laugh, although it may look tame, it was one hell of a rough ride in the cabin hehe.

When I got back off this trip, I got the car on ramps and gave it a full clean, then washed and polished the body. She's been fine since :-)
