im 19 (immature jokes)... one car is already enough haha. thats why this job is so important than maybe i can buy me a backup honda. i get so worked up because i must be at school and most of my buddies dont go until 12 but i gotta be at school by 8.

i got it started with some "heet" engine additive and carb starter. tomorrow i will see if it keeps it up or not. the cold does effect the fuel and amperage so much, its ridiculous!

I was having problems with mine, same sort of symptoms. I ran diagnostics on the battery and found it was only putting out ~420 CCAs. Figured that was the problem, so I replaced the battery, ran diagnostics again, and it was putting out 750+ CCAs. Also did a drain test, alternator test, etc. Everything checked out fine. Went to get in the car the other night, wouldn't start - wouldn't even attempt to turn the engine over. Then, randomly, started it right up. This time I took it to the shop - turns out my starter is on the way out. If your car just cranks and cranks but wont turn over, it very well could be a starter problem. My guess is, though, it's probably a battery in your case. Go to AutoZone or a similar place and have them run diagnostics on your battery. That should reveal if the battery is weak or the alternator is no good.

Edit: forgot to mention that these issues did not appear until we dipped into negative wind-chills the other night. (~10 deg. F)

You might just need a tune up. How long has it been since you've had one?

^a couple months. i changed the wire plugs and rotors. never changed the fuel filter though, nor do i think the people before me did either.

idk guys, i bought a cold start injector today and hopefully put it in tomorrow and i pray it solves the problem but im skeptical. anyone know where the injector is? will i have to remove my intake manifold?

Mine won't slip into second gear until it warms up. If I'm in a hurry I just run from first to third lol
