Yes many cars out there do run them, they typically have the power to utilize them as well, reason being for wide wheels. If you want wide wheels, your best is to contact your preferred wheel manufacturer to get proper widths and offsets.

You want to take your quarter panels off to fit the wheels?

I think he means flare them like the crazy VW guys do...

Yes, find whichever wheel you like the design of, and see if you can get it wide enough to your likings.

Idk about you, but i found 9" to be wide enough for a stock SC.

i got 10.5s to fit with a 26 offset, i could fit a 275/30/19 the widest on the rim without flaring the fender a little or adding more negative camber, my fender is pulled slightly tho.

higher offsets and smaller width tires is very possible to fir a 12" on a stock sc body,

most 12s i find have aggressive offsets though, check zilvia.net my350z.com they got some wide wheels there

Go with forgestars- they'll build them for you in any offset up to 12" and they're a very high quality wheel for an excellent price. Anything over 12 you're going to have get get crazy- a guy out in AZ had some custom 13.5" wide HRE 20s made and he had to go through A LOT of hoops to get HRE to agree to build them. They were practically one offs so bottom line expect to drop some big cash for anything that wide

I'm curious in what size tire you'll end up running. Did a quick search and all I could find were 375's, those were just released to the public market in 21's. Those were still quite visibly stretched on a 13.5 inch wheel. Without stretching, you're looking at a 395+ tire, if those even exist.

Can't wait to see the fitment with tires.

Well here is a white SC with a 19x14 so this is pretty much what he'll be doing.
