Hidden gauges. Stock look.
I know most of the people here are not fans of gauges everywhere and prefer the stock look with hidden gauges. lots of you even hide them behind vents and such. Well here's a new challenge/idea for you.

It is creative, but it'd only be decent for a show car. Personally, I don't mind a few nicely done gauges around the cd player or even on the a pillar. Besides, that's an s13 dash. Granted uncracked ones are harder to find these days, but I'd rather cut into one of thse an a black dash out of a SC.

I plan on doing similar to that, since my car is a 92 non passenger side airbag. i will be using a dash that is originaly passenger side airbag equiped and just make some sort of hiddin door that can pop up like that where the airbag should be. I will try and make it look as low key as possible until I want it to pop up.

I wouldn't be able to go all out on my s13 at all. lol I hate it cuz it seems like fisher price made it. Everything is held on by like 2 bolts, no joke. But that would be an A+ if that project were a school assignment

That is way sick! To bad they had to cut the dash up to make it work. Personally I wouldve sat in my car and found the spot that is the most visible to me then made something custom to fit in that spot but make it low key. Practicality is better then custom IMO.
