Default Installing Aftermarket Stereo in 1995 sc300

hello everyone i am trying to install an aftermarket stereo in my 1995 sc300 and it is just not working...ive looked at the other threads on this topic and its not really usefull....has anyone installed a stereo in their sc300??? if so can you please help out.....yesterday i was trying to install it when i crossed the wrong wires and "fried" my deck(it even smoked) so will have to go buy another.....oh and now my blinkers dont work(my hazard lights work thow) i put back in the factory stereo but it doesnt light up anymore and neither does the shifter gages (the PRND21)

do i have to re-wire the whole thing or is there an easier way???

Can anyone help

My guess would be that it is possible you blew a fuse. If the deck smoked, you'll probably need a new one. Try checking the fuses first.

Did you buy the correct wiring harness for the aftermarket stereo?

i'm almost postivie it's a fuse.. i did all my wiring for my in dash and used the wiring harness..

If you do not know exactly what you're doing when doing your stereo, then I recommend paying a friend 30 or 40 bucks to do it because you can really f up your car if you wire things up wrong.. it's just gonna cause a huge headache for the person who is gonna do it later. trust me. get someone to do it.
