I have the 1jz in the sc I just swapped the stock turbos with new ones, install went well but when I get on the gas the boost needle keeps flickering from 8-10 psi and the car sounds like its back firing. Idk what the problem could be! anyone have a guess why this could be doing that

is it a puttering sound if so let it idle for about 10 minutes

Check you coil packs for hairline cracks

do you have enough fuel and fuel pressur ?? A/F ratio ??

Check your spark plugs as well. A lot of the 1jz guys are experiencing this. My 2jz was doing this until i bought some new plugs and gap them.
