JDM to the states
Is there anyone on here importing sc's or supra's from japan? If so are you shipping to canada and driving over border? I would really like a RHD sc3.

would it even be legal to own one in over here? and if you do it will cost some serious cash, what with the us safety inspections, emissions, us dot standards, import fees, etc. i could be wrong as i'm drawing all this from my research in when finding out how to import a GT-R. 2014 FTW! 89 R32 becomes legal!

are you talkin about motorex? oh and fyi never asks these type of questions on that yahoo answer thing. some people do not know what the freak they are talkin about. honestly if owning a GT-R legally in the US meant just going from right to left hand drive, a lot of us would be driving imports right now. people these days. *smh*

yeah it's crazy what went on, like how they passed off the R32 and R34 on just the R33's safety inspection. there's whole article on it on the NICO forums.

There was a site where you could legally import cars from Japan. I can't remember the site, but I did find it on here two years ago. I almost imported a 94 RX-7 Twin Turbo super cheap two years ago, but I went with the SC instead. I didn't want the hassle of emissions in Texas either.
