Default Yo! New to CL!

Hey peeps! Name's David and I am not sure if i'm posting this intro in the right spot or not :/ if not could an admin move it to the correct place, thanks.

I just picked up a 93 Sc400 about 2 weeks ago and I definitely love it. Got it for a steal but it does need some work, nothing serious though.
Needs new seats (leather is torn to ****) new struts (feels like a boat) and new door panels (these are just beat to crap). Other than that nothing serious, well..minus the drivers door is stuck closed lol, but i'm working on that. Just cant seem to get the latch to let go >.<
Anyway, I have big plans for this thing, the body is in great shape with the exception of a couple of minor door dings and one small dent on the passenger fender. EVERYTHING in this car works, which makes me so happy. Especially the A/C when the summer time rolls around here in Houston.

It's got some nasty chrome 18's on it right now but I definitely plan on changing the wheels. Probably some SP1s or something, then throwing a kit on there. Kinda going back and forth on the Auto Couture or the Vertex kit. Regardless something is going on it, lol. Hopefully I can have it looking real nice for a big car show coming up in March called Import Reactor here in H-town. I better have it done cause I already registered, lol.

Anyway, I am glad to be here on the forum! Already learned a ton of info about my SC from searching before I even registered, lol. Hope to maybe see some of you guys that stay in the area around!!

Thanks for the welcomes!! Yeah, I've already been searching quite a bit for the past month or so on this forum. Every time I search something on Google about the car CL is usually the first thing to pop up, lol.
I am new to the SC but not to cars so that will definitely help. As it is last night I went and picked up a new ECT sensor since I read on here that many people have had much success with changing it. Going to change that now actually, lol.
Here are a couple of pics, needs a lil work as stated but hey, for the price..i'm not complaining
Pics from the day I got it

The 240 is mine as well, it's a 97 kouki with an LS1 (420rwhp) ported TB, MS3 cam, forged for nitrous.

I think it's a pretty good base to start out with, engine runs great, just had to replace the tstat and it was good to go! Also plan on doing the fog light conversion since these are only cornering lights.

Fix her up nice! The rims that came on it don't look half bad to use for awhile anyway lol. Hope to see the car progress!

Mind if we see what's under the hood? Wow I'm jealous. Empty parking lots must be fun.

Yeah definitely have big plans for the SC, just getting her running perfect before I start really throwin parts on it. Yeah the wheels aren't too bad I guess lol. Just wish the previous owner hadn't put HUGE tires on the back, makes the rear end sit up higher than the front, definitely noticeable when i'm next to a stock SC.

Here are a couple of pics of the 240 while I was throwing in the LS1
**for any lude lovers, that's my '00 Prelude on the right**

Yeah..it's green, lol

These are right after I dropped it in and called it a night

Here is what the motor sounded like in my buddies Camaro. I believe this was straight pipes. Motor only has 10xxx miles and runs amazing.
