What can I use on the woodgrain to give it that new look? I heard armorall messes it up. Am in the process of fixing up the interior and just wanted to know.

man i tried to use some turtle wax green can compound to buff out the dull hazzie parts, but didnt have any success. It might have to be wet sanded with 2000 or 2500 then buffed to get the thick clear coat to shine again.

Steps to restore wood grain that is just dulled from age:
  1. Orbital Buffer (Not a spin buffer)
  2. Maguiars #1, 2, 3 system
  3. Apply each with the terry cover on your buffer, and polish.
Would should come out restored. Do not overuse the #1. After I applied this process, mine had the look and luster of brand spanking new wood.
