Yep it's legit. I remember a guy that joined with this SC not too long after I joined CL.

yeah its legit. been on craigslist for a while. I understand where he's coming from but realistically its way over priced. But maybe somebody from the toyota museum would buy it.

Thats a very clean ride, in my opinion its worth about 8600 cash. Not a 5 speed nor a vvti and its stock. To be honest if i had to do it again, I would spend about 4 on a car and another 4 on a 2jztt+5spd and the rest on wheels and then cut roll and drop the car just doesnt book out

There used to be a member on here that had a 95 sc400 with 18,000 original miles, he sold it for $23,000, this was about 3 1/2 years ago, I know him personally so its not BS, real deal! Documented low mile cars are going to bring good cash

about the valuation ... i am little puzzled as well b/c most discussion on these sc never go above $10K... but when i found mine he wanted 9500... and i wanted financing... that was diff being it was '99 model in the year 2010.... but the bank did give me financing and they ran their numbers and told me mine has a valuation of $15K.... i was like 'wow'... k i wasn't gonna ask anything.. luckily i got it financed.... as deal was private.... i was happy....

so hey depends... guess 99 sc400 to some has value of $15K... i mean i didn't think so but i am not going to argue with the bank... i got my car and got it financed.... i was stoked...
