Default Door speakers

Did you use the ebay speaker mounts on your doors?

Yeaaa.. don't buy them. They will mount up but the door panel doesn't fit over them. I did some searches and this was confirmed by others. What a waste, Now I have to make my own from mdf. Oh well.

Everything is near completed, minus the speakers being installed and the headunit wiring. I couldn't find accurate wiring diagrams for a 98-00 SC. I checked my electronic wiring manual but its a lot of technical jargon and schematics for the harnesses. I guess I'll have to break out the tester and check different wires manually.

I love these crimpless connectors. The amp can take the wiring directly like the speaker wiring, but this looks so much nicer.

I had both an inline fuse holder and the circuit breaker. I decided to use this and keep the circuit breaker for the blue SC.

the mod bug hit me again lol.

picked up these rare abflug coilovers (made by hks) at auction this morning. i have no idea what the spring rates are, but if they are too stiff i can swap the springs with some hks hipermax ii springs i have laying around.

also looking at buying some 18" veilside wheels and im slowly collecting parts for a black/tan interior conversion

Hey Kohinoor,

Nice dd pick up, just curious if you managed to get the factory tweeter covers to fit over the Focals?

And what auction did pick up those sweet coils from?

the tweeter covers fit, but block a lot of sound. i need to have them modified. right now i just have the tweeter covers laying aside.

got the coilovers from yahoo auctions japan for pennies. the shipping ended up being more than the coilovers cost lol.
