sooooo i was windering on some of your guys thoughts if i should build it into a drift car
you know the usual
rebuild motor
suspension
stitch weld
roll cage and slap some fatty *** wheels on the ***** lmao

ohhhhh and the build might take a year or two just cuz im 16 and have a ****ty *** job and have colleges looking at me for wrestling but the build is what i want to do

if you are swapping transmissions, skip the w58, especially if you wanna drift it. go with an r154, or (budget allowing) a v160. you will break it with what you wanna do. sell it while it's not broken and put it towards the project.

don't forget the dif, weld or swap.

but that's alot of stuff to do as a full time student, and will be for, what, at least 4 more years? seriously, good luck.
(know I'm forgetting something...)

I thought there was, but it's still in beta, I guess. Quantum-auto.com has the w58 kit, and are working on the r154...

Nope, been there done that myself a couple years ago. Projects like this usually end up costing 3x what you originally intended, both in terms of time and money... Usually ends up with the empty shell of the car being sold on craigslist trying to get some of your losses back.
