I got the car in Laredo. A guy living in the townhome complex where I live had it. One day I saw a $ sign and a number and called. He only drove the car to the University and back.
He was graduating and was leaving for Dallas or New Jersey and didn't want the burden. So, I drove it, told him what was wrong and why I wasn't going to make an offer, but that if he needed to sell it, call me. I got the call, case closed.
The car was in San Antonio all its life, serviced at North Park Lexus (or as the business cards in the glove show, McCombes Lexus). 7 pages of records at Lexus.com, 4 owners and I have the original books, salesmans card, etc.
I'll check Aliga and be sure to check CL classifieds before E-Bay, thanks for the heads up.

Original Window sticker, etc.
Well, after registering the car today for $181.80, I've now got $1181.80 in the car.
I looked in the glove box when I bought the car and saw the leather bifold, but didn't check everything out.
Come to find out it has the original Window sticker from the car along with the original odometer reading statement when the car was first bought back on December 4, 1991.
Check em' out...interesting..

A $42K automobile in 1992 was a lot of money. Even though it needs some work, picking up a $42K car for $1K isn't bad, especially a with a clear title.
Trevstuh, is our color combo rare? Do you know where there is a breakdown by color/interior combos?
