Painting the interior! good or bad idea?

I'm wondering what you guys mean by preped correctly? I was thinking of doing some pieces is it scuff with a grey scotch brite then clean it throw some plastic adhesion on there then the sem and clear after?

well , take into account , if anyone has ever ArmorAll'd your pieces , it soaks into the pieces , so you need to clean them very well , i believe duplicolor offers all the products you need for doing your interior

i think i saw some crinkling on the dash above the radio though ,
