TRD steering wheel installed...pic
well yesterday i went to toyomoto and had my all black TRD 3 spoke steering wheel installed......and i love it...it was a direct bolt on ....the only thing you looose with no modification is the cruise control which for me wasnt an issue i drive to fast for it...i know the supra guys ahve modified the wheel to include the cruise control........the wheels looks...feels and drives great...and did i mention the airbag /.?....it comes with an SRS air bag....which was a must for me.....it's suppossed to be like the smallest air bag in the world...dont know if it is true?....i bought the wheel at autonetperformance.com...hayden took great care of me.....i highly reccommend them....especially for JDM stuff.....anyway...i cant post the pic cause its too big.....can anyone post?.....Jeff

I heard that the SRS doesn't work on pre'97 Supra's. Do you think that it's the same on our SC's.
The TRD wheel isn't cheap but I figured if you have to replace the SRS bag in your Lexus, this is the way to go.
Sweet!!!!!!!!!

i got the wheels from autonetperformance.com....i forget how much it was but i believe it was between 700-800...install was minimal......just remove the 2 side plates...then remove the 4 Torx screws on the old wheel air bag....unplug the air bag......remove the 19mm center nut...remove old wheel and install new one...i didnt do it but i watched the guys at toyomoto do it for me.....and i LOVE the wheel.......such a nice subtule diferance...and feels GREAT!!!!!!
