I did mine with that VHT night shade stuff and I applied the coats too lightly so it came out some weird matte gloss look. But when I blacked out my fogs, it came out perfect. So now I have to get new tails and I think imma vinyl wrap it this time around.
I'm still in the process of blacking out my car.

I did buy some maguires compound and that's how I got the weird glossy/matte look. Only way I kno how to fix it is to remove it and start over now that I kno what to do

I think vinyl wrapping is a great idea just because it's removable. With paint you need to wet sand and polish them to get the glossy look.

Once I smoked my sidemarkers and stuffed them in the oven to dry faster and when i got them out they were glossier than when I threw them in. Try it if youre feeling brave, just dont leave it unattended or else you risk melting them lol.
