lol, I used to live in chicago and this would have been a good day in the winter. but theres no salt trucks down here so literally all the roads are a sheet of ice
Yeah, you should see all the roads in chicago completely white from the salt. so is my car hah
The point is that each region has its own freak weather. You may have a few days of high heat while we have months of it. You have months of snow while we have a few days. We all overreact to strange weather because we aren't used to it.
if we had this kind of weather more frequently then the local governments would invest in equipment and man power to handle it but since we dont its just not logical to do so. there are hardly any snow plows, salt trucks etc. so the roads stay unbearable and thats why this kind of weather cripples our area.
I don't have any pics because most of our big snow melted. It's been snowing off and on all day though. My SC's in the garage for now. There's a bunch of ice everywhere.
