Satellite Radio...Now you see it, now you don't

As far as covering the back, if I was to cover it with anything it will move the bracket tighter to the armrest and make it harder to get at the latch to open it, but it would look alot better covered

Satellite Radio OEM Add on
Hi all,
I did a bunch of research on installing the XM/Sirius OEM module. First it doesn't appear any Lexus Dealership I was able to find (including Sewell Lexus in TX) carries the factory OEM module.
I landed up purchasing a VAIS module from
and am very happy with it. Here is the link to the site, paid $250 for it:

You can also e-mail them if you are unsure if the module they carry if compatible with your Lexus.
Because this is installed in the dash directly into your radio, I wasn't going to do it or have my husband do it. I went to a stereo store, recommended by a friend (don't go to Best Buy long story there). They were able to install it in an hour and charged me $150. I called Sirius and had the satellite working in 10 minutes.
If you are in AZ the store is called Sound Expressions, they are only open during the week however til 5:30pm. Very high tech professional store, I understand a lot of pro athletes here in AZ have had their car stereos installed here:

HOpe this helps, I think it's cheaper than the factory part too, that is impossible to find.
