Default need help diagnosing problem

So today after having some fun in the snow I go the the store to get somthin to drink. When I go back outside and start my car it sort of hesitates to start and I hear a humming sound come from the engine or transmision and my dash lights up with trac, abs and starts to dim. My dad says sc's have some saftey feature where if you spin the wheels too much the car will try and Turn it self off to save the tranny or rear end. Its a 93 sc400 btw and lately the I've been turning thetrac off while driving. Idk if that helps.

Sounds simple but, is the alternator showing 12-14v?

^ Is it possible that any snow got up in your engine bay and melted on electronics?

If there are no fault codes to read, maybe you could go ahead and reset your ECU to see if it clears it.

Just put a multi-tester on your battery, that will show if your voltage is up to par.

They are like $10 at a hardware store.

With all the wires these things have, might not be a bad idea to get one.

yea i got a volt meter, im pretty sure as of now i need a starter because it wouldnt start today until it warmed up a little. also got a new battery today and changed the terminals. from what im thinking, some snow may have gotten in the engine bay and possibly gotten on the alternator.
