do you have suspension? ls400 brake upgrade? how is your interior? wheels? tune up? I mention basics because a low post generally means your new to the platform. Dont get offended if your not, but alot of people will tell you to maintain it and getting it running, driving and stopping correctly!

Where are you getting a stock 1jz and new rotors/pads all for around $500?

No if you read carefully he said he is getting the 1jz "tt" aka just the turbos lol. Scan the bill of sale for proof or it didn't happen.

Actually, I was joking, but I think he might actually mean just the stock turbos.

You should worry about *actually* completing the 1jz swap.

That will be enough for now, believe it.

+1,000,000,000 for Brakes, suspension work, tires, fluids.

This is not a ricer car. Don't treat it as such.

$1200 wont even cover the cost of a stock 1JZ, let alone a BPU. Why not worry about chassis maintenance, LCA bushings, tie rod ends, sway bar links, brakes, etc..THEN do the suspension provided you have some money left.

Some of the comments above are a bit harsh, but the truth hurts ya' know.

I would put the money into suspension parts like bushings and stuff like that. Make sure the car is running perfectly first.

The LS400 brakes would be a good upgrade if the car is running good.

Im pretty sure he meant just the turbos for his 1JZ motor which I'm assuming is already in the car + the rotors/pads. One should never assume though.

But OP if you gave better in depth details it might help.

on the car i have
-1.5jzgte stock tt/ ported head
-eibach pro kit springs/ stock shocks
-stock brakes (im looking to upgrade to bbk)
-interior cracked seats... 7/10 around there
-knockoff boost/airfuel gauges
-greddy turbotimer
-wheels tsw staggered 19inch

as far as tune up im currently looking for stock 1jz twin turbos (the turbos itself), besides the smokey turbos the car has been running good.

you sure the turbos are bad? maybe go single...get a tune up. if you have money left then ls400 front bbk. maybe later on some suspension parts n bushings (dont wait till they go bad)
