Need help with 1JZ vacuum lines and coolant
I need help on some vacuum lines and coolant lines. Ive searched but nothing in detail in what Im looking for. I seen this diagram:
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y55/Flea420/vac1.jpg
The diagram helped a little but still dont know where these go. There located by the throttle body. 2 under and 2 on the side.
Where does the 2 front lines run to?
Theres a coolant line(I think) on the head under the TB.
Large Coolant line between head and charge pipes
Coolant line by the front turbo
Also, this plug that was attatched near the oil level sensor, where does this go?
I bought a used gte waterpump and it has 2 nipples, I know one is a drain to let you know if the pump is going bad but where does the other nipple go?
And for the guys that did the 1.5JZ, did you use the 1J or 2GE fuel dampner? I cant get either one to mount on the block, suggestions?

I think the connector near the oil level goes to the starter(i think)
The coolant line coming off the head, connects to the water line directly under the throttlebody

the nipple on the side the one that you can goes to the stock twins, if you are going single just cap it of.

They both should fit no problem, or just get a fuel bypass dampner from dirftmotion i am not sure if you are on the budget but it's $65 ,since you are using a bigger fuel pump.

Waterpump looks familiar? Its the one I bought from you a while ago. Finally getting the swap done so I can put that WP to work .
That fuel dampner line from the 1J and 2GE is too short, I have it dangling for now until I figure how to get mount it back to the block, thanks!

Yes put it to use lol it's been almost 2 two man!!
How come i don't see why it will be short, BUT i maybe wrong. But you can get the 2JZ GTE on from SF either way for cheap.
Are you staying with the twins or Single?

The 1JZ line is too short, the GE is long enough but angles and curves weird and Im having a tuff time mounting it to the block.
Going twins for now till I find some stable work. This build was suppose to be a budget build but Id spent more than I expeccted.

coolant/vacuum
im pretty sure thats a starter wire, dont forget the two knock sensors to tho. also theres a coolant line that comes off the back of the block for the egr valve, it then goes thru the middle of the intake to the hard line thru the throttle body returning at the front under the throttle body. big line you pictured in between the charge pipe should be the heater hose. the last thing i can remember the power steering vacuum thing takes two vacuum lines one on either side of the throttle body to regulate power steering pressure. i deleted mine.

OK, I have most of it hooked up all except for these four last lines.
This one is located left side under the throttle body. Im thinking PS pump?
this goes to?
and these last two, the one Im holding and the line to the right with the check valve:

your first pic is vacuum for the power steering idle up valve on the power steering line, it can be blocked off and deleted if you need to
pic #2 is your fuel return to tank, the hard line you need to connect to with a rubber hose is on the body
pic #3 your gonna have to wait, lol
