stupid idea? need some input
so i have a '99 silver platinum metallic slammed on teins with 19x9+25 19x10+20rays lexion 503's and i was thinking of getting a 93 bumper. i am picturing scweet 1 as inspiration when he had the 97+ sides and rear with the 93-96 front bumper with that mad lip, i loved it. i know to each their own but i just want some expert opinions from the experts. be brutally honest and just tell me what you would do. thanks for input guys.

since you have a 97+ model SC id probably suggest you go with a 95-96 bumper instead of a 92-94 bumper because of the foglights. 92-94 has turn light indicators not fogs. 95+ is when they changed it to real foglights and im sure they run the same bulb and socket as the 97+ fogs so all you need is the bumper and fogs and it should plug right up. If you got a 92-94 you would probably need to do some cutting and fitting to run fogs.

I personally wouldn't do, not because it doesn't look good or anything, i think the 95-96 front bumper with a lip actually looks some what sportier..
I just wouldn't do it because i prefer the 97+ look, and if it ain't broke don't fix it, if you needed a front bumper, might be a good time to do it, but i wouldn't take a good bumper off and buy another bumper and pay for paint..

It's the 95-96 bumper he had.
Personally, I think the 95-96 front with no plate and an OEM lip is the one of cleanest front-ends for the car, period. I maintain that even after picking up another one with the '97 conversion done.
Go for it!

Well, it's definitely not stupid. It's not something I would personally do because I love the look of a 99 bumper with a lip, but it's your car. If anything, just hold on to the 99 bumper and swap around every once in a while depending on how the mood strikes you. Just remember, the front will look a lot more aggressive than the sides and rear. The way Milt's car is slammed and because it is such a dark color, it is less obvious. On a lighter colored SC such as yours, the difference will be much more visible.
