Timing belt time #2
Ok my local shop will be doing my timing belt/water pump change.
where is the best place online to order OEM parts?
Anything else I should add besides:
timing belt
water pump + gaskets
camshaft seals
front main seal
tensioner & idlers
i could probably use a new head gasket.
actually i should get him to replace the plugs and wires while hes at it.

you do not really need new spark plug wires unless yours has a problem, Oem ones are the best quality.
changing the cap and rotor and sparkplugs are all a good idea though.
only do the headgasket if you are going to go turbo and then use a supra TT headgasket.
If yours is blown (engine burning coolant or coolant in oil/milkshake like oil), then replace with a regular headgasket if you are not going turbo.
if the headgasket is not blown and you are not going turbo, it is not necessary at all to replace, it is not a regular maintenance item on a stock motor and as long as you do not overheat the motor it should not blow.

I was planning on boosting it at some point unless i break down and buy a project which may happen instead.
But i think ill have him change the HG with a TT since i have 220k on the clock now.
Engine runs flawlessly, cant even hear it run and it accelerates like new so im going to stick with it til I kill it i suppose. which may happen if i boost it.
the reason Im getting the wires/plugs replaced is I am unsure when they were last changed. he may as well save me the headache.
is there any 'best' place to order OEM parts online? and by best i mean cheapest.
also how much more should i expect to be charged for the HG being replaced?

98 is VVTi i wouldnt change the HG if it's nothing wrong with it, Make sure you don't bend the valves while replacing the HG.
Don't mess with the VVTi sprocket, if it's none wrong with it.
