Default metal head gasket

the head gasket for the tundra truck is metal and fits our cars.

The bore is larger on the tundra, but everything else fits to a T

lex400sc, it's called sleeves . 1UZ-FE plus steel sleeves, Tundra crank, stock rods, clearanced Tundra pistons, Tundra head gaskets. Kick me in the mouth if i've forgotten anything Jim Meader. The increased displacement is definitely going to help these motors, and as you know they need it, the 4.0 litre feels like there's nothing there below 3 grand, but these engines are basically designed to make pwr in the upper ranges, it won't be transformed into a 383 Chevy stump-puller , it'll be a great highway killer. Jim, i'm told this combination will cost me a bit of compression, haven't done the math myself, since I haven't taken the measurements on how much to shave the pistons, but what did you find? Taken it to the track?
