New wheels, new pics...
Okay, I finally got home and finally washed all the bugs and crap off my car so I took some pictures of my new-used chrome Supra TT wheels. I love the staggered setup the more I look at it and the more I drive it!

Looks really nice lex! The Supra wheels do really contrast well with the SC300 and SC400's. Looks like your moving well along with your mods. Good job and it looks great!

Lex,
all that I can say is WOW. I have been looking for picks of this setup for months. Directql has some great pics as well, but its nice to see other setups. Do you have the stock spring and suspension?
My old stock silver tt rims have already been sent out to get chromed, then they go on the SC
what size tires did you go with??

Geez man, you guys all liked those houses more than the ride itself . Next time I'll take pics in behind a run-down bodega in inner-city Richmond! JP, I thought you guys might like those houses, but they aren't mine. My buddies' actually. Neither are gated communities, but I tried getting into Ruby Hills, one of the larger country clubs in Ptown; However, none of my friends were home to buzz me in when I tried. There's this 12,000 square foot house up there I wanna show you in case you've never seen one that big.
Anyway, on to the wheels. They are stock height, stock suspension. The tires are 235F and 255R. Made by Dayton, I've never heard of them, but apparently they're good? Brand new tires, about 1000 miles on them. They still squeal when I turn the wheels. I bought the set for $550 and picked them up from the dude's house with some minor curb rash and one wheel has a light two inch scratch on a spoke. I plan on resurfacing and rechroming it though. The ride is totally different, actually smoother than the Potenza RE940s I had even though they are a lower series. They are slightly louder, but the tires make me feel connected to the road like I'm in a true sports car (probably a bad thing for me!). I'll probably have new rotors and springs on within the month so maybe some even sicker pics then. BTW, I know I was the biggest 19-inch-and-up advocate, but these 17s fit the ride pretty damn well!

yes yes yes
Looks good lex400sc, I am really happy with the way the rears fill out the fenderwells - you got a good deal with nearly new tires thrown in! I am still waiting for my silver set, now feel a lot better about the decision - too bad I'm not paying your price!
And you like the way it handles? Is the front suspension/steering still predictable, not over-sensitive, "twitchy?"
