For your first paint job it lookd to be coming along nicely and you deserve credit for trying and putting the effort in even if it comes out less than perfect.
Looking forward to seeing the final result

Not going to say I'm not raining on your parade, but totally am here, I think you should've left it white. Way too much white seeping through that blue paint. I mean sure the finish might have come out fine, but when its that damn spotty, can you live with it? I know that if I took my car to a shop for a repaint, and they returned it like that, I would be right back in there demanding another repaint job. I understand it was you and a bunch of friends, but can't say I'm feeling the job : /.

I just saw this thread for the first time. I read through the entire thing and have to say I give you props (I would never even attempt something like this), BUT in all honesty it looks awful. I hate to sound like an a$$, but its extremely splotchy. I could not live with this if it were my car, although I am extremely ****. You have also de-valued the car. If you were to sell it at some point, it would take more money than the car is worth to correct all the paintwork. I know im being negative, but guess im looking at it from a different point of view.
