For a first time not bad at all, although I think if your going to go through all the trouble of painting it, I think you should address all the little issues, not because everyone on CL is *****ing but for the mere fact you took all the time and effort of you and your friends. So you might as well do it right from start to finish....

its nice to see that you attacked such a big project head on. dont know if it was addressed in this thread (didnt read all 9 pages) but good thing you re-did the fender. i cant believe you were going to settle with it looking ****ty like that. you probably already knew this, but it looked like that because you didnt feather edge the layers of paint, thats why it had those rings... the finished product is comin out nice. did you spray solvent or waterbase?
