R154 Replacement Synchro Problem
I ordered the rebuild kit from driftmotion to R&R my R154 in my SC300 and we are having a mismatch here with the synchros.
Gears 3,4,5 are fine and go together no problem, but 1st and 2nd are totally different. Attached is a photo showing what came out of my trans and what the OEM replacement piece is supposed to be. Driftmotion already verified the part number and by the picture, they said that 1st gear (in the pic shown) looks a lot like the R151 synchro, but in the R151, that 2nd gear is a 3 piece unit. Mine is NOT 3 pieces, it looks similar to the 1st gear, but slightly different.
Any ideas!!!!???
