i guess this is what happens when cars that attract younger people get cheaper, you get stuff like this nothing we can do about it. I also noticed on ls1tech that trend is getting popular, fbodys are getting cheaper and cheaper and kids buying them for honda civic money and doing honda civic mods.
Get used to it brosef. I have been noticing that for a long time. Besides im sure most people can tell the difference between a properly kitted/modded SC and a rice SC? Every type of car has their "Black Sheep" ricer, wana-be trick, but tacky, classless, and basically no style car owner. That don't make yours c r a p . Dont take it too seriously. All you can do is joke about it and make the thread an interesting read.
BlackSC4 I'm not saying your SC is rice or tacky.
But I was serious about the stripper pole.
I say go all the way with it. Put more intense lighting, a strobe and a disco ball that rotates. But first cut the Sc in half and stretch it. Then when the club closes you get the chicks in the car and let the party continue. Invest in a stocked minibar, stripper pole (because drunk chicks dig them), and a good stereo system. Yes stripper pole. it's been done.
Having one of those in an LS460L wouldn't be a bad idea. The car is so big that I could bring the party to me.
i like mostly everyone bashes on him and then cover it up with a , " if you like it thats all that matters"
well people are trying to be polite which i can appreciate.
The truth is that those lights are more suitable for say a honda or acura or maybe a mitsubishi or something , but not a lexus.
But just like most people here say it is his car and if he likes it that is really all that matters.
Personally i would not have it in my car, but to whoever said it would look better if it was one color like white they are correct, it would be much more tasteful.
I can't imagine that the OP actually lets the color change continuously while driving. From the video, the install looks pretty tasteful. I wouldn't mind something like that for when I open my doors to illuminate the cabin more than just the dome and courtesy lights do. I'd have to have it matched to the rest of the lighting in my car, being the the climate, head unit, and aforementioned other lights.
Cool concept. Needs a purpose to make it for me, though.
