awhh geez its his car why do we care

learn it from a experience, cut them, also everybody relax aint squat gonna happen in 3 month,

have you fellas checked youre control arms lately? yeah that, that will kill you before any chopped up, springs will

also chip fooze cuts springs he must not know much about car at all ;P

Are you Chip Foose? No, so using him as an example is irrelevant simply due to lack of experience when comparing to him..


These threads get so stupid with people supporting stupid ideas that have been proven to have stupid results, and using stupid examples such as "Foose cuts springs"...


All everyone is doing is simply giving useful advice. 3 months from getting new parts, and having the option to sell the current setup, VS. cutting them, ruining them and making nothing back, and possibly....


nevermind, I give up..go ahead cut the springs, support the habit of making the SC chassis the next S13/14/Civic/Accord/Etc.

one of the several threads that make the sc3/400 section seem like the ____hole of cl to me.

Do it!!! IT WILL BE FUN!! Plus side, you will be getting a lot of new parts from cutting your springs!

Thread is locked, nothing constructive happening here anyway.

Cutting springs used to be the method of lowering back in the day.
It will ride stiffer.
It wont be dangerous
It wont effect tires any more than a drop
It is cheap
It is not the greatest solution
Last, dont worry about the resale of stock springs, they are a dime a dozen.
