That's ok, I actually doubt a lot of these reported speeds. I think it would be much more accurate if people stated them as INDICATED speeds. Considering all the aftermarket wheels and tire sizes, diff and tranny swaps, and just general old age wear and tear on speedo, and that's not even get into some of the other common cluster issues.

That being said, I sure hope folks who are reporting the outrageous speeds are doing them on isolated stretches of road when NO ONE else is around. It's inexcusable to be pushing speeds like that when you have ANY possibility of affecting an innocent motorist; pansies or not!

155 on the speedo and the limiter kicked in. Definitely had plenty of power to go faster. My wife was asleep until we hit about 135 and it began to get loud. She was not happy with what she woke up to!

Awesome. Thanks in advance for chlorinating the gene pool.

Some of you morons are on serious crack, grow the fooock up. Stock, outta dealer, 150!!! ya, and pigs fly in Hawthorne,CA trust me!! B4 I turboed the car, I only had R154, light aluminum driveshaft, light flywheel and pullies. with all that, it took me a stretch of 2 miles to get to 13X and I could tell it wasn't gonna go any faster. Oh, that's with VVTi too.
Now, with 480 WHP, it takes me a 1000 yards on the Fontana Auto Club Speedway to do 60-145 MPH on the back straight!!!! CLEARLY, some posters here have no f'ing idea what it takes to beat drag at such speeds.
Any stock SC simply doesn't have enough power to get to 160. And you would require miles to achieve this speed if YOU have around 250-300whp.
Don't fooocking argue my post with some useless verbal ****, GO OUT AND GET US A VIDEO TO PROVE IT...........................

True... true... Plus there IS a limter. I have hit it. A stock SC can't do 160.

The SC400 did 235km/h (~146mph) once in stock guise, backed off there because I figured that was enough.

The Soarer is limited to 180km/h apparently - I haven't had it up around those speeds as of yet.
