I had a friend unscrew the fuel rail as I turned the ignition to acc, gas shot out like a fountain. so there is no doubt that fuel is getting to the rails.

I screwed up last night and left my fuel pump running for an extended period of time as I drained the tank, and I think I burnt up the pump as it will no longer come on. The gas in the tank was very dirty and black. I remember the previous owner informing me that his mechanic told him that there was bad gas in the tank. I filled the tank with fresh 93.

So now i have to order a new pump and see if she will fire up.

I will keep you guys posted.

OK guys, I am no longer getting a cel light when I turn the ignition to the ON position. I guess my Ecu is shot.

I have read to many horror stories about the 1uzfe and don't want to deal with the ecu defect problems.

I will be pulling the v8 in favor of a 2jzge I have laying around. Thanks for all the help guys.

Check your EFI fuse under the hood. IDK if its the same but nn my 1JZ, I jumped some little plug next to the ignitor and it blew my EFI fuse and the CEL stop working. After replacing the blown fuse the CEL was functional again.

Hmm interesting. I did blow that fuse and the cel stopped working right away. I replaced it with a 20 amp and still no cell. I will try replacing it with the correct amperage fuse.

Also, as far as the fuel pump wiring, on the actual pump What Clip goes where? Does it matter at all.

I drained the fuel at the filter next to the driver side rear tire. And like an idiot I left the pump on to speed up the drainage. Oops. And that was all she wrote.

Oh well I plan on upgrading to a 255 lph pump on my sc300 so ill just use the lefover stock pump on the 400.

Update:

All right guys, I found the culprit. Compression reads 120 psi on the right bank and 180 Psi on the left bank.

I guess I need a new motor.
