That looks crazy Rich...maybe you should start selling these upgrades. That's some insane stuff.

Does the X5 projector blend in nicely in our stock headlight? The Q45 conversion for the GS was very clean. Does the X5 swap look the same?

Again, your car looks sweet!

Nice HIDs..... Can you take a closeup of the headlight housing in daylight with the lights off so I can see what the projector looks like. Also, how does this setup compare to a 4300k setup from autolamps and how difficult is the installation?
Thanks,
Tim

Thanks guys. If you want this mod done professionally, there's a guy in LA that will do it for you. He did the bulk my retrofit and is very detail-oriented. His name is Johnny Kwok, located in Monterey Park, CA, and you can contact him at info@illusion-lighting.com, or on AIM "SeeFuu". The install took about 8 hours with the three of us working on it nonstop, but a lot of that was in experiementation and discovery. We had almost determined that the X5 projector wouldn't fit the SC headlight, but some dremel work fixed that . Anyway, install should take about 6 hours or less the second time around. Parts plus install will be around $750, which is a spectacular price considering all the parts, materials, tools, labor, and research going into it, and the uniqueness factor of having one of the only OEM HID-retofitted SCs in the world. Johnny has past experiences with retrofitting various Hondas and knows what he's doing.

Excellent lex400sc! Someday the others will come around and realize the truth about OEM HID color and light output...maybe not

For us that know what true quality lighting is, for me a lot of that is thanks to you, we can appreciate the 42-4300k. I'm glad to see you finally have your OEM HID retrofit. It looks amazing in the housing and I know how the X5 HID's look, very nice!!

I've never used the Autolamps 4100K kit before, but I've seen the Autolamps 6000K kit on Manaray's SC. Here's the video I made trying to illustrate the color flicker. I'm still frustrated that I can't capture the effect the way it looks in real life . Here goes anyway...
