Some of these pics don't accurately depict my setup. They look quite different in person. First there is no no light flare like the camera picked up and the beam pattern is much fuller and intense than what is shown here. The last few pictures got pretty grainy and gross. I'm going to retake them tonight. I'm also looking for a BMW X5/540iL with OEM HID to compare the lighting for myself. My friend has Audi S8 HIDs in his Jetta VR6. I'm going to compare with his HIDs as soon as his car gets out of the shop.
If there are any guys in the Bay Area that want to see the X5s in person, we can meet up somewhere and you can see what they really look like. Essentially they look exactly like a BMW.
lex, i'm also going to UC Davis area. how far is that from pleasanton? i need to drop off my sis' accord. i would love to have these on my SC. MUCH better than the autolamps output.
