fog relay
Anyone know where the fog relay is located in the SC400? On the IS300 it's behind the fusepanel, i tried to get behind the fusebox (driver side kick panel) and all i could find were 2 bolts... something was holding it from the top but i could not find it... hell, i don't even know if it is behind the fusepanel.
any ideas?

Anyone have any idea where this is on the SC400?
I finally found the top bolt but the fusepanel is still nearly immovable. so I just felt along the backside of the fusepanel... no good.

Why not just wire a switch?
Why not just wire a switch to ACC connected to the relay. Normally you'd connect it to the park lights, but it can just as easily use ACC from the lighter to be switched on. Just means you need an extra 3-4 meters of wire.

i have instructions on what to do w/ the fog relay in order to use the oem fog light switch for control. it's incredibly easy, or i'm pretty sure it would be if i could find that relay
pardon my ignorance, but what is ACC?

ACC = accessory lights, ie: city lights, sidemarkers.
The relay I put into mine does just what you're describing hellasboy. When I flick the "light wand" to ACC, the foglights come on with the city light and sidemarkers--headlights remain off. You just need to t-tap the trigger lead off the city light or sidemarker and wire the rest of the relay accordingly. The city light is much easier to access. Works fine with 1995+ SCs, mine came with foglights, but the facotry relay, wherever it is, was DOA so the foglights never worked. After I wired a relay, everything works perfect. Do a search, I believe I wrote a whole thread on it a while ago in the SC forums. Something like "How to wire a relay". Good luck.
