so im getting back a good decent amount of money from my taxes and claiming my daughter. Im torn between gettting some wheels and slamming my car and finishing up my NA-T project, or selling my NA-T kit and just do the 2jzgte swap. I dont know what to do, what would you guys do or did, or are doing? Im leaning more towards doing the swap tho. Which 2jz should i get and which is better VVTI or non VVTI 2jzgte and this is going into a 95 SC300. Everyones feed back is welcomed, and please no search replies

I would go 2jzgte vvti if I were you. That's what I'm going to do. Better driveability, full torque at 3600 rpm On stock twins. Not to mention a newer motor. Do you plan on staying auto, or going manual?

Not to step away from the majority but depending on how much money you're looking to spend I'd say go with N/A-T. I've been researching this for some time now as I plan to do either a swap or N/A-T conversion, and I've come to the conclusion that N/A-T is the way to go.
I'm quite handy and could honestly do either of the two I choose but for less of a headache and reaching my 500hp goal, the N/A-T meets the requirement. If you plan to build/refresh the block, do head work or basically pull the motor apart for any other reason then I'd say go GTE swap since you are damn near taking most of it out anyways. If you're just looking to make a decent amount of power and only need to pull the head for a new HG, it's simple, cheap and won't affect reliability.
I think a few of the questions that should be asked are 1)what are you looking to spend 2) what kind of power/driveability are you looking to have and 3) What are you able to perform, as the work is needed, to complete the swap or turbo conversion?
Everyone is entitled to their opinions and take any positive feedback into consideration. I don't consider myself a GURU of the JZ motor's as I came from the 4G63 scene and am fairly new to the platforms. I honestly don't think you'll be disappointed either way.
This is what I'd do with ~ $5-6k budget: ( I know there are misc. parts other then whats listed but I'm giving a very broad explanation of what I"d do.)
AEM EMS V1 ~1k
EBAY exh. manifold (since they seem to do the job) ~150
GT35 dual BB turbo ~ 1-1.5k
Exhaust, DP, dump ~1k
TiAl 44MM Wastegate ~300
FMIC w/ Piping and BOV- ~ 500
1.3MM HG with ARP Studs - ~ 350
Fuel System: injectors, fpr, lines, pump, rail etc. (sizes as needed) ~ 1k
Given you'll have to get the car tuned after this which is a nice chunk of change as well but with this setup you can pull an easy 500hp, reliably, on pump gas and have a clean ride.
Just think, this can all be done in a days work (tuning aside) and you can enjoy a cold beer
