take it to other shops to see what they will charge you and if there cost is some what near the 700 then i would look at that person work then go from there. 700 is low for that honestly. i paid up to 1200 for the dent that i put in my quarter panel. the 1200 was for paint and labor. but all together i paid 2000 for my entire body kit to get install

That sucks hopefully you can get it fixed for a good price. Hmm I wonder how many member's SCs wrecked this winter? These threads are starting to pop up a lot now.

Sorry to see that -- but at least the quarter is fixable without replacing so consider yourself fortunate there.

For comparison purposes, I had a minor parking scrape in my left rear quarter on my SC400 and had the quarter and rear bumper refinished and repainted at my preferred shop, and all in I was at about $1200.

Best of luck getting it repaired, keep us updated.

Ya for sure I didn't know it might be that expensive. Ill have to go around shops that have good reviews and prices because I don't want a butcher job done to it. If its an avarage of 1500 around everywhere i might just take out the dent and save up for a full paint.

seeing that the the dent is completely accessible from the trunk, take the trunk liners out and give it some good hits and it should pop out pretty easy. then just get a hammer and dollie and gently pound the dents out, using the dollie on the inside and making sure you never get the metal to metal ting when the dollie is directly behind it . (little taps to where the hammer bounces, making sure your not stretching the metal) i say if you have experience go for it, alot of people are afraid of doing body it seems, dive in and do it. youre not going to be any farther behind by trying.
